Some sprites I recreated from a blurry sprite sheet from Super Mario World, as seen here: https://topics.nintendo.co.jp/c/article/cb34ab17-9135-11e7-8cda-063b7ac45a6d.html I've also included some other small stuff like different colors for the Hammer Bros. and an old sprite from Super Mario Maker that I recreated. This sheet may be updated in the future with more stuff, but for now, enjoy.

Why is it that whenever people make SMW Hammer Bros., they use a bright green color for the helmet/belly and a dark orange color for the skin? How do they not think that looks weird?

That's because the smw pallette only has dark orange for skin tone purposes (this pallette is actually also for powerups, Yoshi, and a lot of stuff, not just for enemies)

To be more specific, I adapted the colors from the original image into the SMW palette and chose that shade of green since the Beach Koopas use said shade of green. Same with the orange color.

It would've been great if these were the hammer/sledge bros we got in SMM and SMM2
