General Commentary and Game Overview
Mario Takes a Three, or MTA3 for short, is a compilation of various levels posted in the contest of the same name. Done in a SMB3-based engine the game divides the levels by ranking them in 4 worlds:
-D Tier
-C Tier
-B Tier
and -A Tier

Most of them are pretty good, though the lower ranking levels will are less fun than the normal levels.

(oh and my level is the first one in the D Tier but to be honest I don't really care about that)

I also want to mention that I didn't complete the entire thing due to difficultly reasons.

Pros -Some good and interesting level designs.
-Some levels change up the artstyle, which is nice to see.
-Responsive controls.
-Uses a accurate engine based off SMB3.

Cons -Some levels are not that great, and some even really difficult.
-Some bugs and glitches here and there.
-May or may not crash at some points.
-Some slowdown and lag is present in some levels.

Impressions
Gameplay
7 / 10
It's basically your typical Mario 3 flair, but with user made levels, with all of the levels being ranked with worlds from D to A Tier.

There are a few new gameplay additions to spice things up, such as a Piranha Mario power up based off the Pootie enemy, and a cloud that disappears if you jump/walk off it.

That said, there are a few annoyances with some of the hitboxes, and some glitches, for example, in the level by The Dark Warrior, there was a glitch where after Mario died and then respawned and then got a powerup or took damage the game will snap him to the spot where he died for a second, and then return him back to where he originally was. When Mario collected a powerup in a later room, the game crashed with a error message saying "Not Enough Memory!".

Another problem is the difficultly. Some levels are easy, while some are really difficult, which is a problem as you have to beat every level, which is easier said than done..

Графика
6 / 10
The graphics are pretty much just the All-Stars version of Mario 3, though for some of the levels the artstyle could change, like a Minecraft artstyle for instance.

There are also some new sprites for the newer objects, which sorta fit into the SMB3 style.

Sound
5 / 10
Just the SNES Mario sound effects everyone knows and (maybe) overuse.

Final Words
6 / 10
A pretty fun contest that culminated to a compilation game with fun levels but a bit of unbalanced difficulty. When Bowser wanted some levels made by fans that were better than his, he kinda got what he asked.
