Very faithful to the original material, graphics and overall vibe-wise! It does feel like playing one of those Level UP videos. Mario does feel a tad bit slippery at times, but in a way that isn't too dissimilar to the way he tends to slide around a bit in the original SMB. One critique I could have is that it might be nice to have the checkpoint option be just a tad bit more obvious, as I got a tad bit frustrated playing the pyramid level and hadn't thought of checking in the options. That one might be on me, though, I just hadn't seen any other game before were checkpoints were to be enabled via options menu. but that's just one nitpick out of an overall pretty fun little game, and the green coins do give it some replayability and an extra challenge for those so inclined. Looking forward to the two extra games to be added!

i took damage at the spikes near the end of goomba pyramid and it duplicated my mario (one small, one big) is this a blessing or a curse

hey great adaptation! loved the mazes though I suppose they were a bit finicky to get through but I guess I'll have a much bigger appreciation of what LEVEL UP's Mario has to go through.

Its also just a really good SMB1 engine, its not that slick (a bit slippery tho but thats fine) and it does feel really good to control!

Anyways, I'm really excited for what's planned, especially Mario and the Coin Maze!
