General Commentary and Game Overview
Yes, I am fully aware that this game is just a test/joke, and that it was never meant to be taken seriously. Since this game is just a testing of website functionality, there is also the possibility that this game will be taken down, but I just can't help myself and I'm feeling the urge to write a review.

The actual name of the game is Debtor's Prison. The premise is that you're stuck there, and you have to work your way out.

 Pretty much all you do is click the "Work" button, then "Sleep", and then "Eat". Technically, you can skip eating, but you'll eventually die of starvation. You can only work once per day, and sleeping makes you hungry, so you can't just click "Work" as fast as you can. Oh, there's also an "Escape" button, but that has no functionality and just gives some flavor text.

As you can probable tell, this is basically just cookie clicker, but with some extra stuff you have to do. I didn't get to see what happens when you pay off your debt because of a web browser issue, but that's not related to the game.

I should mention that the amount you pay off is randomized each time you start the game, along with the reason why you are in debt. That was a nice touch.
 
Graphics

 The UI is very basic, but it is functional. The font is also nice, and overall what is there looks nice. The problem is, that's it. There's nothing interesting to look at. If the gameplay was more engaging, that would be less of an issue. As it is, however, the graphics suit the game's needs. Nothing more, nothing less.
 
Sound

 The music is harpsicord(?) rendition of greensleeves. The looping point is quite noticeable. I must admit, however, that I really liked the button sounds.

 If you want an idle game, just play cookie clicker instead.

Ha, a fair assessment! This game probably won't stay on the mainsite forever, but I might keep it around a bit longer as we refine our HTML5 game development - and hosting.

I use the same button sound in a few of my games, including Career Fantasy and Satilla Composite.

Legend has it that you might actually be able to escape if you get lucky enough...
