General Commentary and Game Overview
Super Mario Bros. Mini is a fan-made remake of the original Super Mario Bros. in GBStudio.

It features all of the original levels, and some brand new bells and whistles with the actually new "New Quest", which you can access from the main menu by pressing B.

New Quest features brand new worlds, and Yoshi. Aside New Quest having level themes not seen in the original (Deserts, Giants), it also has new bosses, which are returning from Super Mario Land... And Wario's there too.

Pros_test - It's a near perfect recreation of Super Mario Bros, with a lot more content and even a Randomizer mode.
- Unique level design.
- WARIO
- The game is overall easier, as you can get 1-Ups with the Star, and by getting the top of a flag-pole.

Cons - No Single-Player Luigi... Seriously, that's it.
- Some of the graphics don't exactly look too good, and are barely recognizable.

Impressions
Gameplay
9 / 10
Mario, although feeling somewhat close to the original game, he overall feels floatier and snappier. You can also bounce higher on enemies by holding down "Jump" before stomping. Yoshi, being exclusive to New Quest and Randomizer, has a double jump instead of a flutter, and his tongue just kills enemies rather than catching them.

Graphics
7 / 10
It's not all too great. Mario is a bit scrunched and is barely recognizable as... Well, the Bing Bing Wahoo Man. Otherwise, most of everything looks fine, thankfully Yoshi looks good too... Although there's some strange use of Mario & Luigi sprites for New Quest's true final boss.

Sound
10 / 10
Almost exactly the same as the original.

Final Words
9 / 10
Super Mario Bros. Mini is a true love-letter to the original. I would have given this a 10/10 if some of the graphics were a little better and Luigi was playable by Player 1 for New Quest.
