Pros | + Good, varying core gameplay + The character sprites are pretty good + The music's fine too |
Cons | - Gets pretty hard pretty fast (or maybe I'm just bad at it) - Some graphics are a bit weak |
Gameplay 8 / 10 |
I'm not much of a TD player so I can't really say where this game would rank among them, but I did have some fun playing it. There's enough variety with the different towers and upgrade paths to make every run feel at least somewhat different. Even though the game requires a lot of explanation, the interface is surprisingly simple and easy to understand, which is great. The difficulty curve might be a bit wack, though; playing the first level on Medium, I got through all waves with no trouble until the final one, where I could basically do nothing but watch as the enemies rammed through. I probably just needed to "git gud", but I'm not sure how. |
Graphics 7 / 10 |
Some of the graphics are pretty good, like the characters, while others aren't, like the tracks. I assume at least some of them are placeholders, though, so I'm not going to judge them too harshly. I also really like some of the "Virus" designs, Toad especially. |
Sound 8 / 10 |
The music didn't get old for me even though there's only one music track per level, which I find pretty impressive. The sound effects are suitably distinct. |

If you like TD games, this is probably a pretty good one, and even if you don't, it's simple enough to be worth a try. |
