SMAS Custom Desert Background By: SuperSledgeBro
A wholly custom background made to go with my SMAS-styled desert tileset. Certainly not necessary, nor very original, but it's different enough from the already existing desert BGs to warrant its existence. You have looping sand dunes, layers of cacti and rocks, and ancient buildings that are not pyramids.
Type Info
Format Tilesets Backgrounds broken into a set of tiles.
Contents Original Sprites that are made completely from scratch.

Update History
03/02/24  Revamped the entire sheet. Sand dunes now fit a 32x32 format and loop properly. Added tiles for structures with bricks and pillars. The sheet is now organized in a 16x16 tileset. The old palmtree graphics were kept for preservation's sake.

Yeah that's probably one of the best smas backgrounds ever.

I really like this, but I will say that those cactuses look huge in comparison to those palm trees. It's more of a perspective issue if anything. Aside from that, it looks nice.

I never noticed that, lol. I was paying attention to their shape rather than size. You can place them a few pixels lower than the palmtrees and it'll look natural...

Is the temple meant for background use or actual tilesets?

It was intended to be part of the background, but you can use it on the foreground if you like.
