I never liked how SMB3 Boss Bass looked skinny compared to how it's supposed to look these days. For whatever reason It's in game size is using 24x32, which is 8 pixels too skinny. I have modified it to use the full 32x32 graphics scale to make him look as it should be. - Version 1 retains the look from the original sprite, just wider to fit the 32x32 graphics scale. - Version 2 has redrawn parts to look slightly better, with additional opening mouth wide frames. - Includes red Boss Bass, pink Big Bertha, and Cheep Chomp NES 8 bit Colors, as well as the SNES 16 bit colors. - Just a note for Version 2. The 2 frames inside the dark box technically wouldn't work, as they go slightly outside the 32x32 range limit. They are there for comparing & testing purposes. Can be considered as "unused".
This took me about a whole day and a half to work on these.
