The colored semi-solid block platforms you see in overworld levels in SMB3 also had flat nails in the SNES version. I thought I should keep them like this on the wood blocks to keep consistency and clarity. |

I think the problem with the nails is that they're placed on a rather detailed-looking block. They work on the semi-solid block platforms because those are more flat-looking, but here they look out of place. Maybe some shading will do the trick. Aside from that, though, this looks great! Keep it up with the SMAS-style SMM stuff! :) |
