Pros | + The graphical style is... unique |
Cons | - It's not even remotely fun to play - You will die for no reason at all - The music isn't even looped properly |
Gameplay 3 / 10 |
The "gameplay," as far as you can call it that, consists entirely of walking around slowly. The game is from an angled isometric view, so the controls feel unclear all the time, and you will often walk right into a spike pit despite your best efforts. Speaking of, you have a health bar, but most things kill you in one hit. When you die, you have to start all over again. The game might be very short, but Mario's slowness still makes replaying it feel like an eternity and a half. In any case, I quit playing after I got killed by literally nothing. I wasn't anything that could feasibly have killed me, but I still got sent back to the beginning. Great game design right there. |
Graphics 7 / 10 |
I wouldn't call the graphical style of the game "good," but I do hold a certain kind of nostalgic affection for it. It is definitely unique, at least. The only specific thing I would make a note of are the lava graphics, which are just horrible. |
Sound 4 / 10 |
There's one track that isn't bad, but also wasn't looped. There are no sound effects. |

It's like a tech demo for tech that isn't impressive in any way. |
