I'm probably one of the few unironic Toad fans out there, and decided to show my love by making a sprite sheet with his modern color scheme. Using LegendTony's sheet as a base and combining it with the pallet of the new 16-bot Toad sprites from Mario maker 2. Resulting in something I'm quite proud of. The original sprites were, of course, made by Nintendo. New/Edited sprites made by SemiJiggalo (semijuggalo@yahoo.com) LegendTony, FireGuy, SuperSledgeBro, Jay Pavlina and AwesomeZack. Certain rips by RandomTalkingBush. Update 04/05/20: So I've considered people's feedback and looked at the sprites again, and I came to the conclusion that I wasn't as satisfied with the colors as I convinced myself I was. I decided to start over again using the 16-bit Toad from Mario Maker 2 and the results made me very happy. Hopefully you'll like them too. Update 05/15/20: I have a lot more to say about this update than the others, so I figured the description was the best place for it. With the new SMB2 style sprites that have come out for Mario Maker 2, I felt it was time to do a major overhaul of a lot of Toad's animations. Part of me feels like I'm spitting in LegendTony's face since I basically used his sheet to make this one. Then again, I'm still giving him credit since the majority of edited sprites are still his, and changing certain others just means I'm putting more of my own spin on it. So hopefully he doesn't feel insulted. Anyway, the sprites I changed are the swimming, sprinting jumping and sliding sprites. I also added Toad's 16-bit headshot from Super Mario Crossover. Just for the heck of it, and also in case anyone decides they wanna make an RPG. Next to that I put Toad's casting call sprite from SMB2 just to fill in blank space. Update 7/19/2020: I made a few new sprites based on the balloon pumping mini game from SMM2's World Maker. I also added big and small Toad floating inside a bubble, and just for the heck of it, recolored the ending sprites from SMAS SMB2. Lastly, I changed big Toad's jumping sprite based on SMM2's SMB3 Toad. 2/26/2021 : Added the recolored the throne room sprites from SMAS SMB3. Because why not? 5/19/2012 : Major overhaul on the overall presentation of the sheet with a vibrant new background and frame. I also incorporated some of GlacialSiren484's big sprites because I loved them so much. 5/21/2021 - I decided to give big Toda a few facial expressions. I think they came out alright.

This looks really good! I do think that Toad is one cool dude! I think the only problem with the colors is that the blue and purple (which I assume is meant to be a shade of the blue) don't really look good together. It also makes it look like Toad's vest is switching between blue and purple. Maybe try making the purple darker and perhaps a bit bluer, and see how that looks.

Semi-Juggalo did. I was just following his lead. Though maybe I will redo them one of these days with colors from the SNES's actual pallet.
