Pros | + Some of the jokes were kind of funny. + Callum's voice will always be funny to me that's for sure, what a legend. |
Cons | - There isn't anything that sets this game apart from other joke games. - None of the jokes were exceptionally good. - It's painful to play and that's not enjoyable. |
Gameplay 1 / 10 |
I don't get why so many joke games rely entirely on bad platforming for gameplay. Multimedia Fusion's default platforming physics is terrible, yeah, and I guess that would be funny for the first time but... Yeah lol at this point it's not funny and just... bad. The level design has 0 effort put into it, as expected from joke games and I guess there isn't anything else to say. |
Graphics 2 / 10 |
Bad is funny. I like the fat Mario at the beginning so I will give an extra point for that. Otherwise, I have nothing extra to add, I've already said all I felt like I had to say in the first section. |
Sound 2 / 10 |
The music was probably the funniest part of this game. I like some of the music used, like the one for Giant Mario. And uhh... That's it I guess... Yeaah... |

I hope we leave these kinds of games at 2010s. |

I've actually been thinking of making something different recently, as I've begun to get tired of making platforming games. The problem is that I simply have no ideas. Also, how long have you played this game for? It sounds like you've only played the first two levels, I recall putting a bit more effort into the third level (or at least spending a lot more time on it). I found it odd you how mentioned Mr. Pence along with the other joke games, that series eventually got so serious that I couldn't even call it a joke anymore (though a lot of the more serious games would end up being scrapped). |

I think I quit at the 3rd level actually? Not sure. And I did play a little bit of "Mr. Pence's Last Penny" and uhhh, if that's a serious game for you then maybe you're underestimating the quality standards for fangames these days lol. It felt like another joke game to me. |

It felt like another joke game to me. By "third level" I meant the level that comes after Richopolis' boss. Also, by "serious game" I meant games that have a more serious story, rather than something that's actually attempting to be good. Mr. Pence's Last Penny was definitely not a serious game. In fact, the only "serious" Mr. Pence game that actually got released was Mr. Pence Travels The World. (which wasn't really a good attempt at being serious at all). |
