Run as far as you can in an infinitely-generating level! Collect coins and moons to buy powerups such as the iconic fire flower and ice flower and the custom blade star, and defeat both familiar and custom enemies to earn more time. As you run, you'll face increasingly dangerous foes and obstacles, so be prepared!

Super Mario Bros. S is a collaborative fangame, meant to embody the spirit of modern Super Mario platformers while utilizing the style of SMB1. Super Mario Bros. S: Road to Infinity is the first Unity version of this game, and is meant to serve as a demo version for the engine as a whole. In future versions of Super Mario Bros. S, Road to Infinity will be updated and incorporated as a new gamemode (how exactly this will be implemented is still unknown).

This engine is still very early in development, so any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Pretty neat fangame, though it could use some refinements. Stuff like springs coming out of blocks instead of just appearing, Super Mario's jump sound, koopas flipping over into their shells as opposed to dying when the block they're on is hit, and possibly different routes involving switch blocks could be great additions.

Score I got is 1919, died from a pit.

I really like this game, it's really fun and entertaining, but one complaint I have is that the Blade Star is severely underpowered. My suggestions to improve the Blade Star are:
1) Make the blade longer
2) Make the blade aimable using the arrow keys
3) When you land a kill with the blade, make it so the time dropped from the enemy is double what it would normally be

Amazing work, only suggestion I can really think of that would help a lot is the ability to customize controls, as well as the D-Pad being able to control Mario.
