General Commentary and Game Overview
This is a demo for a joke fan-game where Mario... Buys Bread, based on a minigame IN the fan-game rather than having any sort of actual levels you can play through and what not.

If it wasn't already super-freakin' obvious enough, this mini-game is based on the Blue Sphere stages from Sonic 3, but rather than being the high-speed 2.5D madness like the original Blue Spheres, this mini-game is a lot more 2D. You move Mario from side to side with the arrow keys, and you can use the up arrow or X to jump over obstacles. You have to collect a set amount of Blue *BALLS*, *NOT* SPHERES, to get a Chaos Emerald... Or just not, and go collecting coins to get a high score. Touching a Red Ball ends the game right there and then. You get the idea.

Pros - Super Simple, and kinda fun when you go for a high-score.

Cons - It's based on a mini-game as opposed to containing any levels of the actual fan-game.
- It can get kinda boring due to the sheer simplicity.
- Things that are behind Mario don't properly show their position, rendering their sprites as if they were in front of him.

Impressions
Gameplay
6 / 10
It's not really the most exciting thing in the world, but it is intuitive enough for what it is. Collect coins to increase your score, collect blue balls to get a Chaos Emerald, avoid Red Balls, use Yellow Balls to jump over obstacles at a superbly high altitude... And not really a whole lot, as to be expected from a Mini-Game.

Graphics
9 / 10
Despite the clear "Joke Fan-Game" MSPaint look, the graphics are pretty dang solid for what they're trying to achieve.

Sound
4 / 10
The volume mixing is... Not very consistent.
The coin sound is at a proper volume, but other sounds (and even the music) are not at a proper volume, and are quieter than they even *SHOULD* be.

Final Words
6 / 10
It's a pretty simple demo showing off a mini-game from the final product, and enjoyment can be had...
But it's not exactly fun if you keep playing for too long.
