Thanks for the review! It took a very long time, but because of your review, now all of my games each have a score! If you were talking about how there's not much strategy beyond hugging the right side of the screen, I definitely agree with you! It doesn't help that there are some tight hallways that give the enemies less room to avoid Beat and strike Eddie. And yeah, one level isn't really a whole lot, although this was made for a competition, so I didn't have a whole lot of time. Long ago, I had planned on making an expanded version of this game that would've included more levels. It would've also included some enemies that would keep you on your toes, such as a fish robot that hides in water down below and then leaps up to get Eddie (it actually got implemented, partially) and an enemy that strikes from behind. However, not much was done and it only comes to my mind on rare occasion. |
