The gameplay's great it's nice and all, but in the second game add new powerups like a drill or even the hammer suit powerup! Be original but return some items too. |
Graphics 8 / 10 |
The graphics are nice, though Langton made his own Goomba, Koopa, and Boo sprites and i don't like them. as well as making an enemy [Tyke] which bears resemblance to the Kirby enemy Wheelie except it's eyes are on it's top instead of the middle. |
Sound 5 / 10 |
Most of the music isn't Mario related including the boss themes which are Sonic related! Mario and Sonic had a rivalry back in the 90's and Langton forgot that! I can't believe he would forget such information. |
Replay 6 / 10 |
It seems like a good game to replay after you beat, that is if you feel like a challenge, but beware all your previous progress will be deleted... because Langton forgot to add save files! |

Overall the game's fantastic, it's just that Langton didn't have much ideas or new enemies on hand. |

Luigi is a hidden unlockable character by defeating Bowser's Castle in World 8 then pressing a button to switch between the two brothers and this is explained in the game. = = Game above: = = Idea below: = = Interesting review makes me wish the Author had included Sonic in a scene telling Mario that he's too slow followed by a dare to complete levels in record time to unlock the rival hedgehog. If the secret coins had been the Golden Bananas (or the Crystal Coconuts) then we would have an excuse to ask the Author to make Donkey Kong unlockable too... ^_^ |
