It plays really well so far, and I really dig the concept. I 2D Mario adventure in SM64 style is something I've often thought of attempting, and this is done really well. There are a couple of issues (or nitpicks, you decide :P) however: Upon entering a new area, the music always starts over from the beginning. You may want to remedy this so as to avoid it becoming repetitive. Also, there's a lack of multi-layered backgrounds. While not exactly necessary, they definitely make games look a lot prettier, esp. if used properly. |

Ok the Error is a little glitch that cannot be fixed but it rarely occurs so you should be ok. :) In "Crack Behind the Falls" I should have made placed a toad telling some kind of hint. Well its a spoiler... Just go to the warp pipe that leads underground and there should be a switch. Hit it and go all the way to the end of the main area going up the little mountain part and jumping across some platforms and then you will see a crack or a cave depending if had pressed the switch or not. |

The game seems nice, and is definitely promising, but the timer makes the silver star level very hard, and the Subcon elements make the game feel a tad more annoying (why is veggie plucking keyed to the same key as running?), without really adding anything to the game. I would also highly recommend implementing diagonal movement on the map.

I'm gonna remove the timer in the next demo and I might add 8 directional movement instead of 4... But It'll take a little while also I'll make it so you will have to hold the down key when you are trying to pluck veggies or pickup subcon enimies

Sometimes when you try to jump onto a platform (i.e. the mushroom platforms from SMB1, moving wooden platforms from SMB3, or spinning gray platforms from SMW), you fall through the platform as if the solid collision for said platform is temporarily disabled. And I'm not talking about trying to land on the very edge of the platform, where this issue would seem the most likely to occur; I'm talking right dead in the center. I think that was a problem the original Drag Engine 7 had, so I'm not blaming you.

Sometimes you can hold nothing-littelery! If you pluck a turnip, somehow there's a way to hold nothing. I'm not sure how to do it, but I even got a video of it. Also, sometimes when you jump on a red Koopa, the Koopa does not retreat to its shell, rather, it stands there completely still. You can still pick it up and kick it, for some reason. Otherwise, seems cool.

The "Hold Nothing" glitch has happened to me before but there's nothing I can do about it... and the Koopa glitch IDK how the heck that happened... that has NEVER EVER happened to me very strange...
