General Commentary and Game Overview
Welp, it's a hello game. It's like every other hello game, except somehow worse. The main problem with this game is the level design. The level design is so bad, I couldn't get past the first level of this garbage game.

While it's certainly not the worst game on MFGG, it's probably my least favourite. Because usually a bad game, such as something like Mario Minigame Mayhem, can at least make me laugh. This game doesn't even have that. It's just horrendous.

Pros -The engine is somewhat smooth I guess
-Nice-looking lighting effects

Cons -Atrocious level design
-Annoying Mario voices
-Walljumping is awkward
-The same graphics as every other hello game
-The same engine as every other hello game
-Dumb story
-Horrendous dialogue

Gameplay
1 / 10
It's the hello engine. We all already know how the hello engine controls, and this game is no different. However, there's one difference: Mario can now wall jump! Hooray, something different! Too bad it's incredibly awkward to use. Unfortunately, the game makes you use it all the time. Which brings me to my biggest point: the level design is this game is horrendous. I couldn't get past the first level. The game expects you to instantly master its finicky walljumping controls, and immediately puts you through hellish rom-hacky gauntlets. This is just the first level. Hello has no idea how to make a difficulty curve, it seems.

Also, special mention has to be made to the game's dialogue. The toads' writing is bland, yes, but it pales in comparison to what Hello has done for Mario: he speaks in transcribed voice clips. Like, a toad will be talking to him, and he'll just reply with "Just what I needed!" Is this a joke? Is hello trying to parody himself or something? It's baffling.

Graphics
4 / 10
Those sure are the Traditional Hello Engine SMB3 Graphics™! At least there are no Black Squirrel tiles this time, and I'll give the game this: the lighting effects look decent.

Sound
2 / 10
It wouldn't be a hello engine game without Patented Hello Engine Obnoxious Voice Clips™! "Hoo hoo! Just what I needed!"

The music, at least in the first level, is an extremely unfitting and obnoxious heavy metal remix of a song from Super Mario RPG. From what I've seen of other people playing other levels, they seem to also use unfitting remixes.

Replay
1 / 10
I didn't even get far enough for "play," let alone "replay!"

Final Words
1 / 10
This is probably my least favourite game I've played on this website.

Oh boy, does this game ever get controversy

There's one review rating it a 1, one rating it 10, and the rest sitting somewhere nicely in between

(I'm personally pro-1)

It's fine to me.

But whatever, I guess.
