General Commentary and Game Overview
In the dark woods, a gang of brothers found a scroll that contains the legend of the purple coins. The scroll said that Purple Coins usually live in haunted houses, so the brothers went on a search for a haunted house.

A purple coin (who is supposed to be the last of his kind) feared that it will be collected just like all of the others as they are worth a million coins. Uh-oh, looks like the brothers found the last purple coin's house, does this mean the purple coin kind will be extinct?

Maybe, at least that Purple Coin has some powers...

Gameplay
10 / 10
When you see the name, "The Purple Coin", you might think it's just a Mario platformer that tells about a purple coin. But instead, you control a purple coin who tries to avoid being collected by the brothers! It might seem to make the game impossible as coins can't move, but this purple coin can actually move. Think it's still too hard, considering there is an army of brothers? Well, then think twice you noticed that this purple coin can hide. That's not the only thing, because you posses a nearby brother and then fight his friends, or just drag him to a pit.

Fighting the brothers might seem to heavily drop the difficultly, but it will be like that until at least one brother sees you. They'll want to fight back, thinking that the brother your possessing wants to break up the gang. What makes it more challenging, is that some brothers might actually notice that you are possessing someone, which results him to call out his brothers to attack! The brothers AI are amazing, and they are acting more like real humans rather than robots.

If the brother you are possessing got knocked out, then you'll be forced to get out and then you'll need to posses someone else. Or maybe a brother has somehow managed to collect you, which results in the end of the game.

I haven't found any bugs, so that gives you a plus! It even results in a perfect score!

Graphics
4 / 10
Eugh, I can see most graphics are in the overused SMW style. Not only there is overused SMW graphics, but there's a overused Black Squirrel tileset too?! The brothers aren't even helping too, as they are just Mario & Luigi recolors. Perhaps those brothers are actually Mario & Luigi's brothers? That must very hard for their parents to take care all of them...

The fact that you made the brother's eyes purple if you possessed them is a neat addition, but it can be hard to tell you are you possessing and if your possessed brother got knocked out, if there is a barrage of brothers.

It doesn't deserve a score of one or two though, because some are edited and a few effects are nice.

Sound
9 / 10
The music's very nice and fitting, despite that most of them aren't from the Mario games. But the menu feels empty, because there is basically no music at all in that spot.

Sounds are nice, but my gosh, those voices. No, they aren't bad, they're just HILARIOUS! They don't feel annoying, because they are just too funny. *crack* "OW!!!!!" HAHAHAHA! That cracking sound is just pure gold. Every knocked out voice can at least give you a smile. This game deserves the award of "Funniest voices".

Replay
7 / 10
With the online high-scores (so there must be more than one purple coin), you can try to become the longest living purple coin by trying to place 1st.

Not enough? Then there is those different stages, like that winter one, which appears that the brothers are trying to sell you for a gift that they want to share with there friends.

However, there is only five stages. So don't expect to be playing this for like a month if you are not into high-scores.

Final Words
8 / 10
Coins may be lifeless, but this purple coin is a magical one, and it even got it's own amazing game!

I'm massively surprised you encountered no bugs - the game is nowhere near bugless.

<link removed>

That above is the final version. It's a smidge better than this - it slightly addresses the BS tiles and "hard to tell who is possessed" issues, does better gameplay-y things, and has 5 more stages.

Edit: I SWEAR that link was working when I posted this yesterday. Screw this site's link code, seriously. If you see this and wonder what version of the game I was talking about, search up Batbro editon, because I can't link to it.
