Pros | +Different attacks +Custom graphics |
Cons | -Almost lacks variety in stages -Character select is pointless -Some graphics are low-quality -Mario & Luigi are fighting for no reason |
Gameplay 6 / 10 |
Like Street Fighter, you have Mario & Luigi fighting against each other. What I liked about this game, is that both brothers have different attacks. Plus, you can use the up/left/right/down key to perform even more attacks. There is different stages where they different looks, but almost all of them are the same. At least a couple of them had different gimmicks, but it doesn't help a lot though. Oh, one thing about the character select screen. What's the point of it!? You might be thinking of selecting your favorite plumber, but no. Player 1 is always Mario and Player 2 is always Luigi, no matter who you selected. |
Graphics 5 / 10 |
You used custom graphics, and that is nice! Instead of copying and pasting SMB3 and SMW graphics, your just taking your time in drawing out your graphics. However, the in-game graphics are low quality. Title and victory screens look good, but they sort of clash with each other. |
Sound 6 / 10 |
There is a lot of music here, but some of them sound unfitting. There is a WHOLE lot of music tracks, and you decided to pick ones that sound great to you, instead of picking those that sound fitting and nice. Sound effects are okay, and they all sound fitting. |
Replay 2 / 10 |
Eh, almost all of the stages are the same. Plus, there is no unlockables, modes, and different characters. Sure, it's called "Mario vs. Luigi", but you could have added characters like Peach, Toad, or even Wario. |

If you want to play a fun fighting game, then play Super Smash Bros instead of this. |
