General Commentary and Game Overview
Mario Tails. A Flappy Bird clone.

Well...there could've been more to this game other than "press Space to go past pipes", maybe like enemies, powerups, bosses, and even game modes. However, IAmGreenMike intends Mario Tails to be like this, and he told everyone to not compare it to every other game on MFGG, he said they needed to compare it to Flappy Bird.

...even if every game on MFGG is compared to the other games on MFGG...

Pros +Randomized environments
+Keeps track of your high score

Cons -Its just Flappy Bird with a Mario skin and very minor adjustments (Mario is in the center of the screen
-Could have more stuff, but like the author said, this is what he intends the game to be like...which isn't good

Impressions
Gameplay
3 / 10
Gameplay wise, it's near identical to Flappy Bird. To start the game, you need to press Space. Now press Space to go past pipes. If you hit a pipe or the ground, game over. It can also keep track of your score as well, and you can adjust it.

...I'm not sure why IAmGreenMike decided to go the "clone a popular game" route, even if Flappy Bird is popular, it's more infamous than anything.

So there ARE minor adjustments in this Flappy Bird clone.

Firstly, Mario is in the center of the screen. This makes seeing the upcoming pipes unpredictable, basically.

Secondly, the pipes seem to be faster than they were in the original Flappy Bird. This doesn't help with the fact that Mario is in the center of the screen.

Thirdly, The environments are random. Of course, they're only cosmetic, they don't actually have a impact on the gameplay.

There's really not much else I could talk about, so...I'm just gonna end it here with the gameplay.

Not very good.

Graphics
3 / 10
Graphically, it's not that good. Both Mario styles IAmGreenMike chose are both overused; Mario's sprite seems to be a custom Raccoon Mario put into the MLSS style, and everything else (including backgrounds, pipes, and the ground).

Maybe you could've used a better style other than those two styles. Heck, you could've used SMB3 NES' style since it's underused, and it seems to fit with the theme of the game.

Not very good.

Sound
4 / 10
Sound wise, there isn't much. There's like only 4 sounds, and taking a note from actual Flappy Bird, there's no music! :D

1st sound is Mario's jump sound from the SNES era of Mario games (Super Mario World, for example).

2nd sound is Mario's tail wiggle noise from SMB3 NES (which again, you could've copied SMB3 NES' style sound wise and graphically).

3rd sound is the coin sound from the original Mario trilogy on the NES (SMB1, SMB2, and SMB3), which ONCE AGAIN, you could've use any one of the first three game styles in this game.

4th sound is Mario saying "OW!" when he hits a pipe or the ground.

I doubt it, even if Flappy Bird may not be on the Google Play Store anymore doesn't really give you the right to copy it.

No one even like Flappy Bird.

Final Words
3 / 10
It's the exact same as Flappy Bird.

No one liked Flappy Bird, so it was taken of of the Google Play Store.

But that doesn't mean you should recreate it.

Nobody like Flappy Bird, and if you choose to clone it, expect negative reception.
