Pros | +Unique foxpowerup gameplay +Comic book interface to advance the story |
Cons | -A LOT of graphic clash -Rather glitchy -One level |
Gameplay 4 / 10 |
There's only one playable level, and it pretty much says all there is about the game. The physics weren't smooth at all, there's hardly any invincibility timer when you get hit, which may result in certain death when an enemy traps you in a corner, and when you jump into a block as Fox Mario, you have a chance of getting stuck, forcing you to reboot the game. I only got halfway through the first level, then I rage quitted for the above reasons. |
Graphics 7 / 10 |
To be honest, I liked the graphics! I enjoyed the custom Mario sprites (as opposed to the overused SMB3 Mario you see everywhere in Hello clones nowadays), and the block sprites for the different powerups. This would have been an 8 or 9 out of 10, but the graphics clashed way too much. Especially Mario against that background. |
Sound 5 / 10 |
The only level music is an endlessly looping MIDI that seems like it repeats every 8 measures. I got so annoying for me after a while, I had to mute my sound. |
Replay 4 / 10 |
With the exception of those little speech-bubble things that you can try to find scattered throughout the level, there really isn't any reason to play this game a second time. |

This may have been a good game if it was submitted seven years ago. But by today's standards--ick. |
