General Commentary and Game Overview
I've only been aware of this game about half a year before it came out. I saw a gameplay snippet, liked what I saw and was looking forward to the release of the full game. From what I saw, I knew that I would like what would come out of the full release.

I regret to say that I didn't necessarily get what I wanted. Now I didn't have my hopes high, nor did I want things to be flawless, but I wanted something that would've at least panned out better than what was on the table. If you haven't played this game yet, I wouldn't recommend playing this unless you're a fan of Waluigi.

Pros +The first Waluigi protagonist game we've seen in quite a while
+Decent graphics
+Has its moments

Cons -Flawed physics
-The BGM can get annoying after a while
-Level design is unfair and doesn't work with the controls

Gameplay
3 / 10
The game plays similar to that of a Mario game. However, it's not just any Mario game, because it replicates SMB1's physics system! I have a feeling this was added for nostalgic purposes and, I'll give it this: it mimics the original pretty well, but the level design does not compliment the controls. If you don't play it right, you may fall down a pit that could've been easily avoided or run straight into an enemy (why do all of them have to be Marching Mildes?). Sometimes it's not even your fault; invisible ? blocks are hidden EVERYWHERE, most of the time right in front of your enemies. Either the level design needs a major overhaul, or both the physics and level design could use a bit of tweaking.

Also, you can occasionally get stuck in some blocks if you hit it just right, which can make you fall to your doom. It is rare enough to not classify it as "buggy," but it's still important to note.

Now let's talk about the powerups. The most common one you'll come across is the hammer. When you're Small Waluigi, collecting this makes you larger, and it gives you a hammer attack. I didn't think that the hammer was all that bad, but it definitely felt overpowered when it's considered a one-way transition.

There are other types of powerups that you can find, though, including a laser launcher, a bubble shield, a vanishing device, and even a Mega Mushroom-like Coca-Cola...thing. These aren't that bad either, but I didn't even get a chance to use the Mega-Cola because I broke through the pipes and plunged to my death.

All-in-all, the gameplay tries to be retro and unique, but it's too off-putting that may turn off some of its players.

Graphics
8 / 10
The graphics are actually pretty neat. It uses graphics from Yoshi's Island, or does its best to imitate it, and it works surprisingly well. I'm not exactly a fan of the font used in the title screen or HUD, but that's probably the worst part about the graphics.

The weather effects were all pretty cool as well, but unfortunately it seems like more thought was put into that instead of the actual levels.

Sound
5 / 10
I can forgive this game for its use of MIDIs because, after all, this was started in 2009, but there could've been some better alternatives. I don't have too many issues for the sound effects themselves, but Waluigi's voice may get annoying to some after a while.

Replay
2 / 10
I may decide to give this another shot when I'm bored, but if it's not fun to play, it's certainly not fun to replay.

Final Words
4 / 10
You know those games that looked really promising from the beginning that you were hyped to play, but when it came out it only left an empty feeling inside you? This is definitely one of those games.
