General Commentary and Game Overview
It's been a while since I've played a fangame like this, it really is rare to see this kind of simplistic minigames on MFGG anymore.

Pros + It's fun
+ Multiple different enemy types and powerups
+ Simple, but not too simple
+ Nice custom sprites

Cons - Bad physics
- The presentation could be better, especially with the highscore table
- Could maybe have a little bit more to offer, like extra game modes and such

Impressions
Gameplay
6 / 10
The gameplay is simple, you just dodge Bullet Bills. There are multiple different types of Bullet Bills and powerups you can get, and they really spice up the gameplay, prevent it from getting boring despite the core gameplay being extremely simple. Actually, I like how the core gameplay very simple too, it gives the game this addicting arcade feel I really enjoy.

The only real issue I have with the gameplay is the physics. Mario feels very heavy to control, but his jumps are kind of floaty. This makes it harder to dodge Bullet Bills which is a huge problem when you consider that that's all the game offers lol

I also kinda wish there were extra modes or something, like yeah dodging Bullet Bills is fun but I'd like to have different ways of dodging that. Like I dunno, a time attack mode, or maybe a mode where the ground is made out of donut blocks or has holes. I dunno I'm sure that it wouldn't be too hard to come up with more ideas.

Graphics
6 / 10
While the gameplay feels like something from 2012, the graphics look... I'd say kinda modern. I mean completely custom graphics wasn't something so common to see back then, and yeah it's nice that those are here.

The actual quality of the sprites are... good but they are shaded in a very bland way that's very close to SMB3 SMAS, some tiles are even straight up pillowshaded. But the game still looks decent overall.

I wish the presentation was a bit better though. The logo in the title screen and the font are good but there's nothing else going there otherwise. And the highscore table is, well, it's the one from GM8 lol

Sound
5 / 10
The music is alright and the sound effects work well despite being used in 90% of the Mario games. Not much to say here really.

Final Words
6 / 10
This feels almost exactly like a minigame straight out of 2012, for better or worse.
