General Commentary and Game Overview
It's nice to see Peach on an outing of her own, even if it is a bit lacking.

Pros + Relatively lengthy
+ Consistent artstyle
+ Peach called me a "sweetie"

Cons - Mostly uninteresting level design

Impressions
Gameplay
7 / 10
The engine is the basic Clickteam Platform Movement, but you don't get entirely stopped if your head hits the ceiling, which is nice.

The level design is pretty uninteresting for the most part. Aside from the few gimmicks the game has (mainly a hammer power-up that doesn't do much and Bullet Bill cannons that behave very erratically), most of the levels could basically belong to any "world." There are also some jumps that basically require you to abuse a glitch in the movement where you can hang off of a ledge with your crown, which is funny but not very good design.

The story is kind of funny for the 5 minutes that it exists. The writing, where Peach is talking Directly to the player, is pretty funny sometimes. I love being called "sweetie." Speaking of Peach, being able to play as her is nice, but it would've been nicer if it actually amounted to anything gameplaywise.

Graphics
8 / 10
The graphics are mostly from SMB1, lending the game a relatively nice, simple style. The menus look pretty clean and fitting, and while SMB1's style isn't exactly my cup of tea, it all forms a nice whole.

Sound
7 / 10
The sound effects are the same ol', same ol', for the most part. The sound effect Bowser makes when he falls into the lava is pretty funny, though.

The music is mostly a bunch of mediocre midis with a couple bangers thrown in.

Final Words
7 / 10
Decent time-waster if you're into Peach, mediocre platformers, or coins.
