General Commentary and Game Overview
Super Karate Mario is basically a combination of a Mario platformer, Super Smash Bros. Melee, and... well, karate. How well that combination works depends on how well you can handle fighting game gameplay in a less fighting game-ish setting.

Pros + Nice graphics and sound
+ Lots of different modes to play around in
+ Dead bodies of enemies flopping about

Cons - Pretty hard to control (to some people, at least)

Gameplay
7 / 10
The gameplay is... complex. If you're good at fighting games and/or can get used to a lot of different attacks quickly, this game might offer a lot to you, but personally, I could never remember which button combo was for which attack.

There are five different modes, and they probably contain enough content to last a while if you can get used to the control system.

Graphics
9 / 10
The graphics are very nice, and all the various effect are really punchy (heh). Seeing the lifeless corpses of your enemies flop about is real fun.

Sound
8 / 10
The soundscape is mostly from SSBM, and works well enough, even if it's a little unoriginal.

Final Words
7 / 10
Offers a lot of content, but only if you can get used to its complex controls.
