General Commentary and Game Overview
Paper Mario: The Cardboard Catastrophe doesn't have a lot of promise (not that it matters, since it's clearly never going to be completed), but it's one of those games that you can complete quickly and which have enough unique weirdness to them to warrant a playthrough.

Pros + The original artstyle is nice
+ The Paper Mario music is nice
+ Anything Paper Mario is nice
+ Using Clefts as NPCs is nice

Cons - It doesn't have a lot of content
- It's very easy

Gameplay
5 / 10
Most of it is just walking around, hammering Goombas and Clefts. You fight a couple bosses, but I'm pretty sure you can't really lose, as you'll just respawn with full HP and can simply hammer the Hammer button until they die. You can get stuck inside an enemy and die from that, which isn't very nice.

Graphics
7 / 10
The graphics aren't excellent or anything, but the fact that most (all?) of them were self-made is impressive, and they give the game a pretty unique look.

Sound
8 / 10
As the old saying goes, you can't go wrong with Paper Mario music, even if it is in Midi form.

Final Words
7 / 10
It's not going to blow your mind, but if you want a fewteen minutes of Paper Mario fun, give it a go.
