By: Cruise Elroy
Cook Out! is a fan game made by Cruise Elroy to look like an arcade game Nintendo could have produced circa 1984. The objective of the game is to throw veggies into a cooking pot while avoiding getting caught by beings of fire. The game features 4 unique boards and up to 99 levels of play. How high of a score can YOU get?

I couldn't play. The game's resolution took over most of my screen with just a corner.

I just uploaded a fixed version, but the options are carried over from the old version to the new one, so you'll still get the large screen. To fix this, navigate to %localappdata% and delete the folder named "toadettearcade" before running the game.

I couldn't play either, everything looks way too big for my screen

Dang, didn't know everyone's computer resolutions were that low :/

Try pressing X twice once the game is completely booted up, then press left either once or twice.

I get this error every time I try starting the game:

I've uploaded yet another version of this game in the queue that fixes this. Follow the same directions to delete the folder "toadettearcade".

It works now, but now I get the same error when trying to turn on the CRT filter.

Sounds like an issue with your graphics card then. Unfortunately, it doesn't work on all systems, so there's not much you can do aside from get a new graphics card (although I would definitely not expect anyone to do this just for a short minigame :V)

I'm typically not a fan of arcade-style games from the nes era, but yeah this was pretty fun.
