General Commentary and Game Overview
Once upon a time, I hastily made a game out of Goomdaddy's Mario engine called Super Mario: Journey Around the World. My former bud, Anjelo, "made it" into a game of his own called Super Anjelo Land, which was equally as lame as my own thing, except with worse graphics and sound. Fast forward 4-5 years later, my bud CrazyRiverOtter replaced the game with this rad title.

Impressions
Gameplay
9 / 10
The Mario-esc gameplay shines pretty well here, the most notable way being it's not built off of some random Hello engine. The platforming is very fun, and you can not only stomp on enemies, but also shoot them with egg-like substances you can collect in the air (Y'know - Like coins). However, I will have to say that even with ability to shoot, things can get at least a bit difficult. Fortunately, the game never really feels any boring!

Graphics
9 / 10
The Game Boy look is emulated well. On top of that, the graphics themselves are neat and crisp. You get the usual details you would expect out of something like perhaps Donkey Kong '94, and there is even a bit of decoration here and there.

Sound
10 / 10
The music choice is, in a word, excellent. The tunes are just plain upbeat and awesome.

Replay
8 / 10
Well whaddya know! It has a save feature! Other than that, I'm pretty sure it wouldn't hurt to play this title again. The only thing I know that can turn people off is the difficulty of certain level layouts.

Final Words
9 / 10
A game with plenty of polish, Anjelo's Province is a refreshing play. It may not be the most original game out there, but it is fun nevertheless.
