You mean to say this is another Trisoft Engine game? Why bother, the engine is terrible and full of collision bugs.

Hello, your games are consistently minor variations on the Trisoft engine. Try either making your own engine or come up with a way to make other people's engine's original. As it is, it's not bad, but it's not really anything special either.

It's definetely a good try, but you ought to make your own engine. Trisoft's sucks. I reviewed it, so you got yourself a second review.

ultramario stop being so god damn ignorant about the damn Trisoft Engine. That is no reason to troll a comment page. And what right do you have to tell other people to stuff their opinion when you're shoving yours down their throats? Take a chill pill.

By the way, if you people can do SO much better than the Trisoft Engine, why the hell aren't you? At least Tri was nice enough to offer his assistance in some way to Game Maker users. I don't see any of you critics doing that.

Do I care how many people agree with you?

You're all spamming every game that uses the engine over it. Yet not one of you bothered to state your issues on the Trisoft Engine comment page. Common sense dictates taking your problems to the source. Not attacking everyone who uses the engine.

I'm just tired of people using it over and over again without making it any better and lets speak no further of the damn subject!!

The bugs aren't THAT bad.

However, the fireflower is useless because Mario shoots it in random directions and I found issues with floor collision throughout the level. The blue block hill thing at the beginning of the level and the bridge later on in the level to be specific. Other than that, the game is pretty playable. Though I really don't know how to complete the first level...

I saw plenty of additions that were not in the Trisoft Engine to convince me that you did more than copy it. Just fix up some things and you've got a decent game.

ultramario: Whether you're tired of it or not, next time I see you spamming about the Trisoft engine and being downright nasty towards authors for using it, I'm reporting you to the site staff.

Bottom Line : Trisoft Engine sucks. I CAN make a better engine, in fact I HAVE made a better engine. However, releasing it to the public is a no. No way.

Then I suggest not contributing to the harassment of others for using a resource, practically the only suitable resource for GameMaker available on this site.

I really think you should save your "Trisoft engine sucks" comments for the comment page of the Trisoft engine itself. Suggesting that someone make significant improvements to the engine is one thing but we do not need 3 or 4 pages every game with everyone saying "Trisoft sucks". Suggestions and comments relevant to the game itself are what's needed.

Honestly, I wouldn't give a damn if I didn't see this kind of bull**** on every page. :/

SajmonN: You haven't played many games then.

None of this makes any sense. I don't think anyone could have "get this" even if they wanted to.

The game isn't good, but it isn't bad either. The only thing I can tell you is you need to make your own Mario engine instead or you can fix the bugs contained in Trisoft's engine.

My god, I've removed a lot of stupid and unneccessary comments here. Keep discussion about Super Mario Bros: Hello only please, not complaining about an open-source engine that Tri released to you just to be nice. If you hate this engine so much don't use it, and instead maybe go back to your bug-ridden unplayable edits of the GameMaker example that people seem to have a strong attraction too. Or, if you claim to be able to make better engines, give constructive critisism or advice on how Hello and Tri can improve their games instead of complaining about how it "fails in comparison to yours".

On a lighter note, I think Tri's engine is of very good quality, and although not perfect, incredibly useful to those who are still pretty new to GameMaker. I also think that SMBH is a good example on how the engine can be improved in some places to make a good game. Good Job!
