General Commentary and Game Overview
I've decided to replay this one before Hello's next 3D game comes out, since that one apparently includes this game in it as well.

Pros + A definite improvement over Super Mario Prism, and also arguably better than Super Crown Land
+ Playing as Toadette is a nice change of pace
+ The lighting can make the game look somewhat pretty at times

Cons - The controls are still not that great
- So is the level design
- Toadette isn't really any different than Mario beyond looks
- Very unpolished once again
- The levels look boring despite the sweets theme

Gameplay
2 / 10
It's not very good.

The controls here are weird. Toadette has this weird jump arc that makes her feel very heavy in a strange way. Her ground controls are also pretty loose too, making it hard to do any kind of precise movement.

Her moveset is also very basic. You walk, jump, long jump, backflip, and that's kind of it. You'd expect her to handle a bit differently but no, she's just a reskinned Mario. Not that this is a necessarily bad thing, it's just that I would have expected a bit more than a game that's starring Toadette.

The level design is also sort of weird. The levels are rather linear this time, and there's less reliance on very basic platforming challenges. Well, that's great! But it still doesn't feel like there's a ton of thought is put into them, and they are still not really all that fun to play, unfortunately.

And that's... all I got to say? I mean, there really isn't a ton going on with this game. There isn't anything that's offensively bad about it in comparison to Hello's other 2 3D platformers, and all the major flaws of it are stuff we already saw in Prism.

Graphics
3 / 10
Better than the previous game in terms of animations, but not much else.

The thing that gets me most in this game is the environments. They are as bland and soulless as possible. Like the first level is just some platforms on top of brown-colored water with excessive amounts of bloom. The second one is a rehash of the cave level from Prism, and the third one is a generic ice level with some fruits thrown in: I think you get the picture now, it all feels incredibly uncreative, and isn't all that great looking.

The game also still lacks a ton of visual polish, and the UI is still super barebones unsurprisingly.

Sound
5 / 10
Man.

Some of these music tracks are decent, like the hub world and cave ones.

Some of them are alright, like the one for the first level.

But then there's the music for the ice level. What am I even listening to? It's just a mishmash of instruments. And while the music for the lava world isn't bad, it's way too epic sounding for a game with Toadette, to the point of being funny.

It just ends up coming off as randomly chosen. The songs fit the level themes, sort of, but there's no general sound direction in terms of music. It's better than what Prism had, for sure, but it's still quite not there.

Final Words
3 / 10
Hello's second 3D fangame is an improvement compared to his previous one, but it still leaves a lot to be desired.
