Sadly, it seems the ROTW link is broken

I understand that you didn't like the game, and I completely understand that. But how does "Sound is good" translate to a 2/10, exactly? The game itself may deserve a bad score, but if the sound is good, I don't see how it would get such a low score on its own.
I'm probably just nitpicking, though, since the final score matters the most.

I didn't expect Goombot to be featured in other fangames, let alone such a fitting one. It's always great to see your old works return in one way or another. Now that I think of it, the physics feel really close to Goombot 2's, could it be that you got some inspiration from that?

Back to the game itself: this must be one of my favorite joke games to date. It's short, but sweet, and I enjoyed the references that were put into it. Great job!

How to get something that opens the GMX file!?!?

When launching Game Maker Studio, select the Import tab and import the .GMZ file.

This game is really great, I love the dimension warping feature!

Never mind the sound problem, I fixed it... Now I want to change the mask sprite to a mask of 22 bits of width and 22 bits of height inserted in a sprite of 48x48 bits with the base at the bottom of it... (Did I explain well?) Without changing the collision sprites. How could I make that? If you could help I would be infinitely greateful!
Thanks

Oh yeah, I didn't add any sound to the game because I wanted it to be, as the title suggests, very basic.
About the sprite problem, the collision code should work with any sprite shape. I assume it didn't work without modifying any code? In that case, I will need to look into the code again and fix it. My apologizes for that, I will PM you a fix as soon as possible (as well as submit it here, but the queue may take a while).
EDIT: Apparantly changing the sprites to 22x22 in size works just fine with me, are you sure that has caused the problem? You do need to be sure the X origin is in the center and the Y origin is the sprite height - 16. This is to make the player spawn on the ground properly, and the code is built around that.

You must know how to deliver constructive feedback, even on files that appear blatantly bad.

I think the current QC staff could improve on this. Back when my sprites were very bad, they were rejected with a message like "Bad quality", without any feedback (except for one submission, but the other 5 or so didn't have that). I can understand it takes a while to write feedback, but it doesn't have to be a lot, just 2 sentences describing how to improve something is fine with me. This was about a year ago, so I'm not sure if it's changed already, but I wanted to mention it just in case.

Thanks for the review!
I'll probably change the BoomBoom music in that case, if it was really annoying you in the first battle already, it's no good. Did you download the music pack though? It includes better music for BoomBoom and other levels/bosses. Anyway, I'll replace the MIDI.
As for King Walrus, I should indeed make it more obvious how to beat him. You have to hit the red orbs and fire back the particles at him. I'm still considering how to make this more obvious though.
I tried programming carrying, but due to this game's not-so-smooth collision engine, it didn't work, so unfortunately this is all I can do for the King Blooper boss.
I'm glad you liked the game though!

Because his hair is pillowshaded in the anime (which didnt have very good graphics anyway) doesn't mean you should use pillowshading here, too.

Thanks a bunch for the review!
I tried using OGGs with both Supersound and FMod, but unfortunately, these don't work well with GM's save system for whatever reason. I'm currently converting the .wav's to .mp3 though, to decrease the file size a bit.

I guess I'll take it on. I haven't gotten the chance to play your demos, but I do remember enjoying your games in the past, so I have high hopes for this one. I won't hold back and I'll suggest things but judging from how much work is already put into it, this may not be perfect but should be good :3

Thanks! Don't get too high expectations though, or the game may disappoint you :P

I think the reason this game doesn't have any reviews yet, is that people already reviewed older demos, and probably don't want to write another review for a newer demo. A review for this submission would be nice nonetheless!

Hey, my game Supah Mahryo Brothas Too is still Queued. It's been more than a week, and i'm worried that you forgot about the game.

Be patient, the queue can even last for a month. Don't forget the admins are human, too. They have real life stuff to do.

How can I see this if it's still queued?

There's a bug on MFGG where you can access queued submissions through user profiles.

Oh yippee, another game involving multiplayer. Are you sure the demo allows you to create your own servers?

You can't create your own server. The game offers a server on its own, where all players that are playing online can be seen and interacted with.

Can I join too? I don't know what will I do in the team, but can I?

I first need to see some work from you (sprites, music etc.) and I need to know exactly what you want to do. If the quality of your work is good enough, sure, you can join the team!

MarioMan564 joined the team as a spriter and beta tester (I wanna keep you guys up-to-date :P).
