General Commentary and Game Overview

Hmmm... where have I seen this before...

Oh right! It was another bad mario game with the same engine and graphics... even the music!

Pros	...
Cons	-Bad choice of graphics. -Use some other kind of music! -Horrible collision. -tons of glitches. -I could go on and on but I won't.

Impressions

Gameplay 1 / 10	I started and I got and advertisment for your site, so I check it out... ok, first, you don't need and AD on the first screen on your game. The "Press space to continue" thing was annoying and I couldn't see it. Next, on the title, you make it so Mario can move around. With the glitches, I died right away. great, huh? Then I got a game over. That's your game? An AD and a glitchy title screen? No, it went on... for only 4 more levels. Is this a completed game or a demo? It says on the exe that it's a demo, but on this site it says its completed. 4 stages is completed? Really? Ok, so now I'm in the games, and then, guess what, the goombas move really really fast, so guess what happens while I try to find out the controls! game over! Now first, jumping went to one height, and was just horrid. I mean, you jump and you would just go up. My sprite wouldn't even change(more in graphics)! The mushroom just appears from nowhere, so does the flower... and wait... is that a SMB3 gba version flower? The tiles were spaced appart by 1 space, you can fire infinite fireballs, going off the top of the screen kills you, and to do that you just have to get stuck then shoot!It took me along time to get to the 4th stage... but man was it bad. Also, in stage 2... um... i got 2 gameovers just from the first part. The bullets fire too fast and the pirahna kills you if its in the pipe. And the turtle shells... why do they bounce off me? That caused me to get stuck, too.
Graphics 2 / 10	Well, at least they don't clash... I think. I thought I saw a flower from a game that didn't fit the style somewhere, and the hammer bro looked out of style, too. Not sure though. Anyways, the graphics are some not very well done recolours of smb's sprites. I know there are better recolours then these on this site, or for that matter, the internet. Why these ones? I don't quite know.
Sound 2 / 10	Well, at least there WAS sound. But not very great choices for the midis. There are alot more out there, but you had to chose the overused ones. -_-
Replay 1 / 10	Not exactly going to replay this.In fact... (Empty recycle bin)

Final Words

There's another game on here called "Super Mario bros Back To The Lost Kingdom". This guy made that, too, but this one is worse. Why? Well it doesn't do very good for itself in many ways.

Actually, the previous game you probably mentioned, Back to the lost Kingdom, was actually submitted AFTER this one; this is a 2007 submission, while BTTLK is a 2008 submission. So it's not a remake, actually. Just going around, stating this where needed to fix any err.
