General Commentary and Game Overview

For a game with "New" in the name, MPGTTNDD:DE is surprisingly light on "BAH"s.

Pros	+ Neat story + Good graphics + Nice soundtrack
Cons	- Flat levels - Annoying final boss

Impressions

Gameplay 6 / 10	The engine might or might not be the default Clickteam platform movement, but it works well enough regardless. The level design is mostly kind of mediocre, consisting of flat plains with few enemies. The boss fights are also kind of dull, and the final boss's first phase is especially aggravating, as you need to hit him FIFTY times as he slowly falls down from the top of the screen. Bloomin' unbelievable, as they would say in the land of the Brits. The story and writing are pretty funny, even if not terribly original.
Graphics 8 / 10	Most of the levels look pretty good, and the graphics made specifically for the game are very nice. I especially dig the Mr. Pence sprite.
Sound 8 / 10	A solid soundtrack, decent sound effects, and a bunch of voice clips from random media. What's not to like?

Final Words

Better than the old Dough Disco, that's fo' sho'.
