This is fantastic. The shading is great, and the poses don't look really awkward. But speaking of poses, you could use some more. But as a concept sheet, it's brilliant.

Well, for a first attempt it's pretty good. But as someone who spends his time with Sonic style, there are a few problems I have with it. The walking poses seem to be just his standing pose with moving legs. While it makes sense in Mario, it also seems to increase his height. The jumping pose is shaded differently from the standing pose so that could be fixed better. Finally the front poses has his head seeming growing while the body shrunk. Hope this helps you improve your next one.

I like it, i may not be a good spriter but i CAN edit sonics animations to make them look like mario no problem! :) After all I've done dozens of edit to sonic, maybe this could be a great challenge! :D
