A basic example made to show how to make Goomba movement, because members are frequently asking for it.

Press F1 to read the help file for more information.

For Game Maker 6.x, should also work with Game Maker 5.x. In a ZIP that includes the GM6 and EXE.

i can make very much exept a easy simple little goomba. I SUCK!!!!
Ok. Now to the real thing. Can you do a update with stomping?

Might do that.

I've also been planning on adding Koopas, and maybe other enemies.

Stomping is easy. Just make it change to an object. On said object's create event, set all speeds and gravity to 0, and set alarm[0] to any amount. On alarm[0], destroy the bugger.

Awesome, Awesome, AWESOME!!! For some reason, my characters always sort of sank into the ground, but with this they work!!! I can make proress with my game now!!!

This helps because it also teaches you how to NOT get your object stuck in a wall

Megatailzchao... You are the same people who made some super mario War Levels? I Love Super Mario War! So much that i give it a special theme...
