New Supermario 2 (demo)

This will be the demo before final relese. Three first worlds are playable now (34 levels). The resolution problem does no longer exist and mario doesn´t jump as high as before.

Warning: each time you start new game the save slot will be cleared out.

Credits:
Jeff Silvers made hammermario sprites,
Toadeeboy ripped SMB1 backgrounds,
Flagpole is Jouws ripping,
Tonberry2k ripped most sprites
Toodles Team for title
And some made/ripped by me

Cotrols are obvious, but I tell them here.
Arrows = move
Shifth = jump, float open/close inventory
Ctrl = everything else

It's good, but can you make it so if you get hit as fire/hammer Mario, you go to Super Mario instead of small Mario? And add an exit button. That would be nice.

Of course and that´s a one way to lower the difficulty.

Since I'm too lazy to make a review at the moment, I'll just make a big old comment. =P

Anyway, this was AMAZING, it gave me the old Mario game feel and had great features. The moment was a little hard to deal with, specifically the running and jumping and the fact that MArio jumped so high.

This is a neat fangame, having all potential a good game needs. It has powerups, even the SMB3 inventory, and a good map system. The full version of this will be awesome. Great job, Ultramario!

Thanks! It´s pretty hard to make Mario jump with perfect height.

Please remove the MP3's. Most people who have Dial-up will not want to wait to download a game that is over 6 MB's large.

It doesn't run (even when I extract all files), it appears in the processes list but it doesn't do anything.

Why did you use shift for the jump key

It's frequently used in other games too.

in full version you're able to choose between Control, Shift and Z, X combos.

not good, every level half way through i would randomly down grade when there were not even any enimies in sight. there is also not enough friction, so it feel s like playing as luigi on lubricated ice. fix that and its good :)
