Very nice and entertaining game, Mason! The only thing I don't like is how you used tiles from... SMB3?... in the "finished" screen. They don't go all that well with the MLSS sprites, partially because they are in a completely different perspective.

Thank you! The tiles shown in the ending scene are actually from this sheet, which is why Wiwa is in the Graphics credits. I thought they looked M&L-ish but I guess it didn't work right. D:

...Wait shouldn't you of all people recognize them? Haha.

Is the same as the one I played that won the Minigame Competition? Anyway, I'll type a review if no one else writes a good one in the next couple days.

Not entirely.

FIXED GLITCHES:
• Score glitch is gone (score now resets.)
• Coins now sparkle when received.
• Lakitu appears before the game.
• Ending Waluigi voice clip has changed a little.
• Point increase displayed above head for a little bit when grabbing coins.
• HUD letters turn red for a little bit when hurt.
• Some small things in the credits fixed.
• Time is now 60 seconds instead of 66.
• Last couple seconds make a sound.

OOPS. But yeah, no progress has been made on that game for way too long. Both I and WiWa have been busy :(

great concept, but the gameplay is below decent, and the sprites looked pixelated and resized in full screen mode. The gameplay region is too small. The sound effects are unfitting. Music is pretty good. What does getting hurt even DO to you anyway? Is there any point in doging the enemies, since you can still get the coins? AI is irritating, regardless, and the game is annoying and frustrating. It's overall unpolished and a lot of things clash.

I might write a review.

You lose points by being hurt - the objective is to get a high score. But thanks for all the advice, bro! Can you please explain why the sound effects are unfitting so I can avoid that problem in the future? :D

Okay, thanks, for pointing that out, I missed that. And your welcome. :)

As for the sfx, the main problem I have is the SMS sounds. The coin sound is kinda cliche, and really doesn't fit in this type of game (others may disagree, but this is just my opinon). Also, the countdown sound that's telling you the game is about to end is okay, except for the last one.

Y'know, the "3, 2, 1, stop" sound? The first 3 sound great, but the last one shouldn't be the saving sound from SMS. It's like it's telling you that you beat the game, but really you ran out of time, so technically that's a bad thing.

Also, the sound effect from Waluigi getting hit sounds far different from the one where he says "I'm the best!" in the end of the game. It sounds like two completely different voice actors. If you actually got the two soudn effects from the same game, then you can ignore this, because it may just be me.

I agree, that is the only thing wrong with it. Other than that it's great!

Here. :O

This is why Ridge Troopa (Parakoopa) is in the Graphics credits. Be warned that for the tongue, I only used the pad of his tongue sprite. The actual tongue is drawn with a few lines and make_color_rgb! :D
