My entry for MGC 40. This game includes a basic combo system akin to SSBB, 2-player drop-in, and an AI partner. You must defeat all the enemies in a level to advance.

The demo comes with two levels. Enjoy!

Great game, even though its a demo. But I found an error, Luigi (player 2 controlling) uses his upward fist attack and repeats it until you use the normal attack.
I'm not sure if that only happens after you configure the controls or something...

I've seen that. I think it might have something to do with the engine. I've been trying to fix it.

Edit: I figured out the problem. Luigi's uppercut animation was only 8 frames long, and the code checked for frame 9 to terminate the attack. Adding an extra frame of animation fixed it.

Tl;dr: Luigi's fixed.

THIS IS THE BEST FANGAME EVER!!!! There are a few problems with the AI, EG:Add a star jump. Other than a few tweaking problems, Its an A+ in my book.

Pretty cool, given that it's only a demo of a minigame.
Controls are a bit odd; make Player 2's move controls WASD and attack/jump stuff J and K.

Other than that, it's alright.

I wasn't quite sure what to set the controls to, so I arranged them similar to Player 1's controls. I'll change them, then.

Ctrl-Y lets you change them, so if it bothers you that much, you can alter them.

What's a star jump? I'm not a hard-core Mario fan, so this confuses me.

Lol, it's nice seeing my sprites in game but somehow you didn't get the animations correctly for some of their moves...

Ohey whoops, I forgot to adjust the controls section of the readme. I'll fix that in the next update, but for now, just refer to this list(Only shows modified controls):

Player 1:

B1: Enter
B2: .

P2:

Arrows: WSAD
B1: A
B2: S

The upadte hasn't gone through just yet, but when it does, this is the new control setup.

(Also, I'm curious as to what that review says. If a staff member is reading this, could you go ahead and approve it so I know what it says?)

Fun, but enemies got stuck in walls for me, and I couldn't reach them, thus I couldn't get pass the first level (though I've only tried it three times.) They just seemed to walk into the inclines.

I really liked the radar feature. Great thing to put in.
