MFGG - Mario Fan Games Galaxy

Mario All-Stars Mega Tile Rip	By: Treeki
Including nearly every tile you'll find in SMAS:SMB1 and SMB:TLL, from the small ground piece in 4-2, to the Mario and Luigi portraits in the bonus room BGs. Castle, bonus, water, underground and overworld tiles are included, as well as all three types of Goombas.

Update History


08/13/06	Castle tiles in overworld block palette added, from the Lost Levels 9-3. Not all could be captured, as it's not a normal castle level (the stairs, bridge, rope and axe are missing)

There's a brown castle? What did it look like on the NES version?

The brown castle area is from SMB2 Japanese version. It was an update of the original SMB, only released in Japan on the FDS. (SMB2 as you know it with the 4 characters and Wart is a cheap hack of an obscure Japanese game called DokiDoki Panic) On the FDS version, it was a normal grey castle, except that the background was of a sky level, there was flagpole, etc. When it was released here as the Lost Levels in SMAS, it was changed. You can find it in 9-3. (access world 9 by beating the game without using a warpzone)

I just realised I made a wrong here. The 1-3 platforms have the green platform at the top and then the tiled thing below. There are more tiles to rip. If you use it that way, it will look awful! Just so anyone knows. I'll probably fix it soon.

What? Isn't this Jouw's sprite sheet? Also by the way you are missing a few of tiles. I however ripped the entire game.... How come I am not getting as many downloads?

I don't see missing tiles; the only ones I know I don't have are the middle set of mushroom stalks; I forgot to rip them.

I had an improved version of this I was working on but never finished. But now, I'm concentrating on NSMB stuff, not SMAS.
