the lines on the inside are the only bad things

thats probably to make it look like the bitlands area a spm

My eyes! Way too much outlines. Well, you should make the outlines inside the sprites 8x8 or something.

The inlines should have a slight tint of the color they're... outlining, I guess?

I'm not an expert, but black surly is a strong color. ( Ye, ye, not really a color, I know) How about light grey or maybe light blue?

Indistinguishable, too much lines, I can hardly see anything. Cut down on the amount of segmented spaces and it would be alot better. :)
