Coptic language is a group of closely related Egyptian dialects, representing the most recent developments of the Egyptian language, and historically spoken by the Egyptians, starting from the third century AD in Roman Egypt. Coptic language is considered dormant, meaning it is extinct, but still serves as a symbol of Copts' national identity. This language remains in daily use as the liturgical language of the Coptic Orthodox Church and of the Coptic Catholic Church.
This sprite sheet features sprites for the symbols of the Coptic script in the style of Super Mario Bros. font. There are letters of the alphabet, their numeral versions, some miscellaneous symbols like Akhmimic version of Khai, Sampi letter which was only used as 900 numeral (though Shai can be used for that instead) etc.
