ByeBye There's a genuinely great arcade game hiding inside Shell Climber. I just wish it eased players into the experience a little more.

Right now it feels like the game was balanced for someone who already has hundreds of attempts under their belt. A gentler opening, a smoother difficulty curve, and a faster retry system would go a long way toward making the game more inviting without sacrificing its challenge.

And, to be completely fair, having to reach for the mouse to click "Retry" in a Space-button-only game is almost the cruelest obstacle of them all. 		4 / 10

I can't get this game running-always failing to fetch the local files included alongside the html. :/

edit: nevermind, just locally host it with python but i did not know due to a lack of instructions.
