General Commentary and Game Overview
Mysteryt1MFGG has made another game, huh? We all know what that means, it's time to take a look at it.

At first glance, it seems to be a pretty good looking game, that is until you get past the opening cutscene and play it, that is when the game starts showing its true colors...

Pros -Sprites for Mayro characters are pretty nice
-The sounds don't clash too much

Cons -The graphics on the other hand...
-Gameplay is slippery
-One hit kills and a lives system
-Same old humor found in the other games.
-Uses a plain font.

Impressions
Gameplay
1 / 10
The meat of the game, unfortunately, that meat is raw and uncooked, The controls are pretty responsive yes, but the traction is pretty bad. All of the enemies you meet are obviously just using the path movement and for some reason Mysteryt1MFGG didn't bother to add a "jump to kill" mechanic, which is a staple in Mario games. Speaking of which, all of the enemies are just obstacles you have to avoid and not enemies to defeat, which makes a lot of the levels just pointless trial and error. This is where the lives system comes into play, since the game is just trial and error, you will get plenty of Game Overs. Eventually you'll get tired of this and just put the game into the recycle bin.

What's the point of gameplay if it's absolutely no fun?

Graphics
5 / 10
Thankfully I have more positive things to say here. Mysteryt1MFGG's custom made sprites are really well made, and you can see where most of the effort in making the game went to. However, the other graphics that aren't custom Like Mayro is do not fit and clash really badly. Why a realistic background? At least it has parallax scrolling, that remedies it quite a bit.

Sound
4 / 10
Like I said, the sounds themselves don't clash too much and aren't loud like in most low-effort joke games. The "coin sound" does get kind of annoying though. Good job on that.

Replay
1 / 10
After countless game overs, you would have already deleted this by the time you closed the game.

Final Words
2 / 10
Games like these that flood the site constantly make you wonder why they're allowed. To the developer, make sprites instead.

Honestly I don't consider myself an actual game developer. I can't even remember why I started to make games.

I might continue to make games, but for now I'm probably just going to make sprites (right now I don't even want to think of making another game).

Also, what do you think of the games that somehow managed to get an 8/10 (Mr. Pence TTW, TNDD and British Mario)?

They're pretty decent actually, I just feel like having the same style in multiple games gets stale and the flaws really start to pop up.

Games like Mario 64: Really Good Edition are probably the pinnacle of joke games because they manage to have great gameplay on top of humor. I think polish is what the gameplay in your future games need to be seen as legitimately good games.

The review (especially the end) may be a little harsh, but I want to see users make entertaining games with good gameplay, and I feel that reviews can help them see stuff they can fix to make the games better. I would be more than happy to review the full game when it gets finished.
