General Commentary and Game Overview
This is a solid presentation, while I would consider it to be more of a mini game it's genre is still acceptable otherwise. This review was done under the default difficulty "Pilot".

Pros +Authentic GBC look
+60 frames per second
+Solid gameplay
+Music fits adequately
+Simple controls
+Adjustable difficulty

Cons -Small Resolution (not counted against the developer)

Impressions
Gameplay
9 / 10
The game plays like your standard Shoot Em Up. Side scrolling and shooting. Since there is only one level the difficulty escalates rather quickly, my farthest being 32% after only a handful of tries (then yet this isn't my forte.) As a result of the resolution the pacing is a bit slow and undoubtedly it's difficult to dodge enemy projectiles at times but it's far from unreasonable.

Graphics
10 / 10
For an 8-bit look, this game captures it all. Limited color palette, basic background, and flickering sprites. Doesn't seem to be a full screen option sadly but having it in a windows probably captures the "handheld" feel more than disproportionately blowing it up.

Sound
10 / 10
Captures the 8-bit spirit of the GB and GBC. The music is certainly a nice piece and the sound effects follow nicely. 10/10 since I don't see anything they could've done differently.

Replay
9 / 10
I believed this could be classified as a minigame due to its small size in length. Get a good high score and win. This game is certainly something to be replayed, not to forget odds are high you'll be dying somewhere in the level and perhaps getting game over. The innate replayability is there and once you beat it you can always try to improve your high score.

Final Words
10 / 10
This game gets its point straight across. It's pick up and play. The production is solid and it is a polished idea. It's certainly worth your time.

Wow, a 10/10 review! I'm grateful.

By the way, you can turn down the difficulty to "Novice" if the game is too rough for you. Novice has some fewer enemies and you get a free hitpoint at the start of a new life, but there's no point bonus for it at the end. If you're having problems with dodging, buy a Speed Up or two. Buy an Option quickly as you have a chance to get it back upon death, as well as Superballs to pick up coins.

I want to make an uncut version with the content that unfortunately couldn't be crammed into this game within the deadline. If this happens this level will be overhauled to make it easier and more instructive in nature (since Birabuto will still be World 1).

If gameplay and replay are 9/10 then how is the overall review 10/10?

The points don't count up into an overall score like that. The overall score is a 10/10 because it can't go higher than a ten, so, basically, they're saying that out of the really bad games that would be rated a 1/10, rating a 10/10 would mean the game is very, very good.
