General Commentary and Game Overview
Remember Duck Hunt? You know, that game on the Nes? My favorite part about it was shooting green Paratroopas out of the sky in Bowser's castle. Koopa Hunt, for what it is, is a decent take on the classic shooter, but it fails to bring the same enjoyment its successor did.

Pros +Decent Engine
+Ingenious level design
+nice sprite animation

Cons -Not very varied
-HUD is a bit ugly
-a tad bit boring

Gameplay
7 / 10
When I made this review, I came in expecting a poorly made fangame akin to most you'd see Vinesauce stream (Still waiting for part 4, Vinny! :D). What I got was a well made fan engine that actually plays like you'd expect Duck Hunt would. Even so, its EXTREMELY REPETITIVE. You just shoot the same green Paratroopa over. And over. And over. And O-
Even shooting the Koopa is a little underwhelming, as it just falls down and the next one shows up. I don't know if the creator is going to add the dog or something akin to it in the future, but it would be a nice addition to the game.

Graphics
8 / 10
Graphically speaking, this game is fantastic. The Paratroopa is animated really well, and the environnments look really faithful to Super Mario World. I REALLY like how some of the levels have obstacles that block you view, occasionally forcing you to rely on instinct to shoot the Koopa successfully.

It's not all sunshine and breezes, though. The HUD is a real eyesore, and the paratroopa never really changes. You're just shoot the same thing over. And over. An-

Sound
10 / 10
It's Duck Hunt. It didn't have much sound to begin with. Thankfully, the sounds that should show up, do. Giving the Koopa a voice was a nice touch, too.

Replay
5 / 10
The Difficulty never really ramps up (As far as I noticed) so you'll probably not play this very often. Unless you're a Die-Hard Duck Hunt fan. Then you'll probably play this over. And over. And over. A-

Final Words
7 / 10
Despite its decent graphics, clever gimmicks, and superb sound effects, it has problems that bog it down and keep it from being a must play. It IS a demo, though, so for what it's worth, you should give this one a shot (GET IT?!?!?!)
