General Commentary and Game Overview
In my first visit here, I looked at the games page and saw Crazy Lakitu DX. I downloaded it and played it, and it was good.

Since I've got a account now, I am reviewing as a honor to my memories.

Pros +Music
+Stars Lakitu, which we don't see it that often
+Achievements for replay value
+Online high scores, which are also for replay value
+Includes a Boss rush-style story mode

Cons -Shine Sprites seem to be over-powered (as they give you so much health)
-A weird bug (see Gameplay for more details)
-You have to die in order to enter your high score

Impressions
Gameplay
9 / 10
From out of nowhere, with no reason, Bullet Bills are being fired at a poor Lakitu. Thankfully, you can use your mouse to aid Lakitu, which I don't find any flaws with it. In order to keep the game from being too boring, we've got power ups that float down and cause an effect on Lakitu if touched.

Some power ups can be really helpful, especially the eraser (which destroys all on-screen Bullet Bills). But you won't want to grab all of them, like the Poison Mushrooms (which decreases your health). I found a weird bug though, where if you grab a ? Mushroom and receive a Red Shell, it will fall down instead of staying.

Not only you can try to avoid as many Bullet Bills as you can, but you can also do a Boss Rush-style Story Mode. Whenever it's a hot-air balloon that creates explosions, a cloud monster that came from the Kirby series, or a Walrus that fires sawblades, I found all of the bosses nice and balanced.

Graphics
9 / 10
It may have the over-used SMW graphics, but don't let that take you away from this game. Because you can get to see all of the different Bullet Bills (there's even a variant that came from Mega Man), which is pleasing to the eyes.

The boss graphics were nice, expect maybe Kracko and one (which I don't want to spoil), but they are great otherwise.

Sound
10 / 10
Instead of over-used SMAS music, we get to hear a Kirby 64 tune in the Bullet Bills game, which fits perfectly!

Usually, we get the same tune for bosses (expect for final bosses), instead we have a different tune for each boss. And I think they are all perfect, and never seem to be off.

Replay
9 / 10
With all of the achievements and online high scores, there is a lot to do! The Story Mode can be worth to pass time with, if you are a good player.

However, since it's a minigame. There won't be a lot of replay value if you get all of the achievements, but hey, maybe you should try playing this game in October, if you want an easter egg!

Final Words
9 / 10
It may be a minigame, but don't let that fool you! With the achievements and online high scores, it is worth playing!

Just decided to look at my very first review, and gosh, it feels like I've been hit by nostalgia as if it was a Bullet Bill! I'll never forget about my early days on this site!
