General Commentary and Game Overview
While it not a perfect game, it has it charms and it tries it's hardest to emulate classical Mario Kart games. It is fun while it lasts, but you won't be playing it over and over again. However, if you have a kid, this is a great game to start their Mario Karting.

Pros +Visual presentation
+Music and sound effects
+Great for kids

Cons -Some minor glitches
-No sense of speed
-That last unlockable character

Impressions
Gameplay
7 / 10
There is no real sense of speed. It feels like karts are gliding through the stage. Even Super Mario Kart, that this game emulates more than any other 3D Mario Kart (and I consider that a plus), had greater sense of speed. But, little kids will jump right into it, and they will love it. It is very suitable game for them in every aspect. Drifting takes some time to get used to, 5-10 minutes, but ones you get it, you will use it over and over, and it is actually then when I had the most fun with this game. One thing that bothers me more than it should, is that last unlockable character. It is not a Mario character, not even a Nintendo character, and it pulled me out of the game. It was so random, and frankly, disappointing, to have as final unlockable. I was expecting Geno or someone like that. It is a minor problem for majority of people, but to me, it just didn't work. It is like putting Angry Video Game Nerd as a character in Tekken.

Graphics
10 / 10
I won't use term "for a fan game", since this wasn't supposed to look like Mario Kart 8. It feels like a nice mix between Mario Kart DS and Mario Kart Super Circuit. It's charming, every element blends well together, it makes stages diverse and character models are all recognizable.

Sound
10 / 10
All is here. Sound effects for weapons, fitting music for stages... It does it's job well. Nothing much to say here than that.

Replay
5 / 10
As I said above, little kids might find reasons to stick with this game for a good chunk of time. However, after winning every cup once, I had no reason to come back for seconds, especially after disappointing unlockable (sorry, but it really bothers me). But the main problem regarding replay value is no multiplayer. It feels like half of the game is missing. There is nothing that would make me say "I see why this game works better a a singleplayer experience." So, it kinda feels more like a warm up for playing official Mario Kart games.

Final Words
8 / 10
A great fan made Mario Kart , but you won't be coming back for more once you experience every stage.

The last unlockable character is an original character of mine. I included it to introduce people that only care for my fangames to my indie games.

I assumed something like that could be the case. While it still bothers me (it is just me, don't worry, it didn't affect the final score), I admit it is a good way to bridge fan games and indie games.
I hope to see more great games from you, cause this one was really enjoyable while it lasted and I also liked Paper Mario 3D Land very much. You are one of the few people that I know about that make 3D Mario games, so rock on ;)
