I'm gonna say this now because I know for a fact that he'll be asking about it sooner or later (because he somehow still doesn't realize how annoying it is): LooneyTunerIan, you don't need to comment on every 8-bit sheet that exists saying that "there needs to be a 16-bit version". In fact, there really doesn't NEED to be a 16-bit version of anything you comment on, and nobody's going to make something just because you think they should. This website is for hosting resources for people to use in fan games, not a place for people to just make endless "requests". If you really want a 16-bit version of this, DO IT YOURSELF. A lot of people have asked you to stop begging for sprites. It's extremely annoying and will eventually get you muted, possibly even banned. Even if you weren't planning on asking on this particular sheet (which I highly doubt since you "request" so many things on literally every sheet that comes in), I thought I'd put this up here anyway in hopes that you'd see it and that you'd finally knock it off.

My rant is now over. Getting on-topic, these were very well-ripped. I never really cared for the 8-bit sprites used in SMRPG, as they were horribly re-created, but aside from that, these are fantastic.

Everything you said before 'My rant is over.' Was perfectly worded and I could never agree more.
Now anyway...
Yeah, I have no idea why they tried to recreate the original sprites but it turned into a disaster. A disgrace, to be honest. I mean, it's not even correct the original sprites! It's not even somewhat pixel perfect in RPG. I would've said something about the color by now but I'm not sure if they could get the exact colors on that console.

I agree what you have said somari64 that 8-bit mario sprite from SMRPG looks like crap but it's still used there for anything useful :P

The NES only had 64 colors in its color palette, whereas the SNES had a whopping 32,768, and while I'm not entirely sure if the exact colors from the NES were available in the SNES's palette, I have a feeling they could've at the very least come close.

Unless if any of these things happen:

-MFGG putting up a rule on "Requests" in the Forums/Site Rules Section.

-The MFGG Forums add a Requests section in the graphics and audio sub-forum.

I find those facts hard to swallow.

Besides, I wasn't going to request a 16-bit version of this, it's ok for the way it is.

Well, you better swallow them sooner or later because the truth is, we're really sick and tired of it. I've explained to you so many times why your requests are p***ing us off, and several other people agree with me. Like it or not, you need to stop. And for the love of whatever great being or power may be out there, DO THINGS YOURSELF ONCE IN A WHILE.

Then just ask the admins to add rules about requests.

I've mentioned that about a couple of times.

JUST!!! STOP!!! MAKING!!! REQUESTS!!! This would be so much easier if you would just listen to us and do what we ask. The fault of this situation is yours, stop acting like it's ours or the staff's.

I'm going to take this up on the forum's general chat.

Maybe we'll come to an agreement.

If you're going to choose to be ignorant, good luck trying to get people to back you up on your argument.

I'm going to take this up with DJ Coco.

Are you kidding me? That was most likely the lamest response I've ever seen in my entire life. I'm not even exaggerating to the slightest bit, I promise.
That was just downright preposterous...

Best response confirmed.
Now anyway, I haven't said much about the actual sheet here, so might as well start here.
A lot of the sprites are recolors, but my favorite thing was probably the partners from Paper Mario. ;) Nice job.

Can we all just stop this arguing? It's getting WAAY out of hand. All I want to say about the sprite sheet, is that the Goombella 8-Bit sprite reminds me of Super Mario Bros Z, does it not? Ahh, how I loved that series...

Don't worry, there's no need to fight anymore because the source of the fighting has been muted.

NES had only 53 colors can display. SMS had 64 colors.

Trivia: SMS - Sega Master System

Also, Game Boy Color and Game Boy Advance also had 32,768 colors.

Yeah, but there needs to be a 16-bit version of that rant.
