General Commentary and Game Overview
Yet another Power Star-gathering game, this one combines SMG and the SMB series to create one smooth game. This demo gives a promising prologue of what the finished product will look like, but there's a few glitches and quirks that need to be worked out.

Pros + Super Mario 64 gameplay
+ OGG music
+ Great graphics
+ Super Mario Bros. elements, like Raccoon Leaves and Vegetables
+ Once you collected all the stars, a "hardcore" mode
+ Awesome level design

Cons - Still feels a bit Drag Clone-ey
- Bugs with the Minigame House
- Some missions (I.e. "Crack Behind the Falls) are unclear

Impressions
Gameplay
9 / 10
So you have to go around, completing tasks to find Power Stars. If you liked SM64, you'll love this. But, there's still a 2-D aspect of it that gives it a SMB3/SMW feel, and the two together create great gameplay. There's a variety of missions to choose from and plenty of levels, so there's plenty to do!

Graphics
7 / 10
The graphics were okay, but nothing that special. A lot of it seemed as if that the graphics were just a jumble from things from various Mario games, then just put together with a poppy color palette. Okay, but not much.

Sound
8 / 10
The sound was pretty good! The SFX was just your standard SMB3, but it was the music that captured my attention. Mostly it's well-designed remixes from the Super Mario Bros. series (I loved the title screen music the most) and a few other things, so I'm sure you'll enjoy listening to it.

Replay
8 / 10
Hey, it's a demo, so once you beat what's there, there really isn't that much to do...with the exception of the ultra hard (and ultra fun) Hardcore Mode. I've only managed to complete the first level in hardcore, so definitely something checking out if you want an challenge.

Final Words
8 / 10
It has a few things that still need to be worked out, but this 2-D Power Star-collecting game will leave you waiting for the full release.
